Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
My experience within the NHS means I see a huge proportion of post-operative patients, following consultant lead precautions and protocols to ensure you meet each of the goals required to move seamlessly through the phases of your rehabilitation and get you back to your full functionning self.
Pain Management
This is a huge element of physiotherapy and quite often the first port-of-call if your pain is unmanaged. If you've have tried your standard over-the-counter solutions already I'm likely to send you straight back to your GP for further review on this or with a recommendation letter. After all, movement is your medicine but if pain is your main limiting factor then this is what we need to control first. In most instances, once pain is best managed, can then begin to combine hands-on therapy for further analgesic effect.
Senior Care
Did you know 95% of hip fractures in elderly populations are caused by falls? Sadly mortality rates are very high post hip-fracture with around 1 in 4 resulting in death. This is a scary and quite often a preventable statistic. I offer specialised physiotherapy assessment and treatment programs for seniors to help improve mobility, balance, strength and overall health ultimately reducing the risk of falls, hospital admissions, preventable operations and post-operative recovery.
The Full Body MOT
The proactive and preventative approach to a movement-rich lifestyle. This includes an in-depth discussion to gather a wider picture on your past and present- think medications, past medical history, family history and a social profile. This is then followed by a comprehensive assessment of each major joint and the ligaments which stabilise them, followed by all major muscles, the tendons that connect and strengthen them and lastly, the nerves that allow them to function. Following this we'll delve into functional strength and balance testing. This MOT includes a personalised treatment program to address areas of compromise found in your MOT and an optional 'no-thrills' findings report.

Elevate is run by Zsara, a Physiotherapist, Sports Massage Therapist and Caesarean Scar Massage Specialist.
"I qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist midway through completing my undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science in 2019 and set up a business straight away. I went on to study a Masters in Physiotherapy alongside this and graduated in August 2023. Following this, I rebranded by business to capture the values important to me as a healthcare professional and deliver a holistic service to elevate the person sitting in front me"

Our Philosophy
To me, elevating a person is quite simply helping to make them feel better.
In my practice, this encompasses a holistic approach whereby together, we acknowledge 'what matters to you' rather than the reductionist outlook often adopted in healthcare of 'whats the matter with you?'.
I believe my way of practice highlights multiple variables that can influence your symptoms and 'opens the door' to bespoke treatment programs. I want more than just "saw my physio and was given some exercises". I adopt an integrated approach with you at the epicentre- this involves your symptoms, worries, medical history, drug history, hobbies, expectations and goals. I combine the hands-on skills I've been using since my early days as a therapist with evidence-based practice that are fundamental to the pillars of physiotherapy.
To me, there is nothing more empowering than leaving an appointment with a health professional feeling listened to and with an agreed treatment plan that is meaningful to you, to help you move forwards and reach your goal. This could be to be pain free, to return to sport, to start a new hobby, to get back playing with your grandchildren, to return to driving, to climb the stairs pain free etc, and you can count on me to help you!
